Engineer — Builder — Prototyper
I have a background in Materials Science & Mechanical Engineering. I have worked in the Semiconductor and Additive Manufacturing industries. I am currently designing exhibits and teaching engineering skills at Chabot Space & Science Center.
Laser cut plywood as a platform for quick 30min - 1hour rover builds.
Prototype A machine that fit Chabot's roverscape activity, collecting crystals from a mars-like surface and analyzing them to see if they could be used as a resource. This activity let guests take their crystals and "process" them into rocket fuel.
I followed this paper https://www.hbenko.com/publications/2008/Benko_Sphere_UIST2008.pdf and recreated the sphere with modern software solutions.
Putting student work on display in the community gallery.
Created a mini laboratory for usage aboard the ISS that fit into existing Astrobee robots.
